DSD Signed Contract No. DC/2026/01 “Improvement of Sewage Rising Mains in Hong Kong Island South, Kowloon Central and New Territories East” and Contract No. DC/2026/02 “Improvement of Sewage Rising Mains in Shek O and Tui Min Hoi”

The Drainage Services Department (DSD) signed two works contracts at a total contract sum of about $313 million with Best Build Construction Company Limited on 28 August 2026. The works include construction and rehabilitation of about 5.3 kilometres (km) long sewage rising mains in Hong Kong Island South, Kowloon Central and New Territories East. Contract Nos. DC/2026/01 and DC/2026/02 commenced on 19 August 2026 and 17 July 2026 respectively. The contract period for each contract is about 33 months.
